Art’s Alive!, La Conner’s premier PNW fine art event, will be marking its 39th anniversary on October 25, 26, 27, and 28! The 2024 art exhibition is entitled ‘Along Salish Shores’ and will be a celebration of local artists and the volunteers. Featured Invitational Artists will include Margaret Carpenter Arnett, Coizie Bettinger, Charlotte Slade Decker, Gary Giovane, Nicolette Harrington, Gene Jaress, Kent Nordby, Kevin Paul (Swinomish), Suzanne Powers, Thomas Stream (Sun’aq, Aleut), Pieter VanZanden, and Maggie Wilder. In addition, there will be an Open Show of 50 regional artists and a special Volunteer Gallery to celebrate the artwork of those who help bring this remarkable show to you.

The doors of Maple Hall open at 1:00 pm on Friday, Oct. 25. Meet the artists at the Opening Reception beginning at 5:00 pm. Enjoy beverages, appetizers, and the excitement of Opening Night, all while taking in the beautiful artwork! The show continues at Maple Hall on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

Hosted by the La Conner Arts Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit doing “Good Deeds Through the Arts” with a mission of scholarship and art education. Each artwork sold at Art’s Alive! contributes directly to the scholarship fund. The show is presented with generous support from Skagit County and the Town of La Conner.
