Hometown Fresh & Friendly at Pioneer Market!

In a town without chains and franchises, the Pioneer market steps up to the challenge to offer both locals and visitors a convenient place to shop.  March and April is the time to pick up your local freshly cut daffodils and tulips and La Conner souvenirs.  In May, Pioneer Market offers local hanging baskets that make the perfect Mother’s Day gift.

Before heading out on the water or to the beach, stop by Pioneer for ice, drinks, snacks and crab bait!  The beer selection is impressive with over 300 different styles and breweries to choose from.  Be sure to check the walk-in section for even more craft beer choices.

Keep an eye out for the Pioneer Market Summer Barb-B-Que’s in the parking lot.  If you don’t see it, you will smell the delicious barbeque when driving into town!

Locals appreciate the hardware section, rug doctor rentals, movie rentals and plenty of ice cream choices.  Looking for fresh produce?  Pioneer Market has a large produce section and brings in local fruits in the summer.

Check out what visitors and locals have to say about Pioneer Market!

Given the size of the store, they more than make it work by including a large selection of a variety of products. From wine and chocolate to groceries, hot food, and even work safety clothing, Pioneer Market is setup to handle whatever you need. They close at 10 which seemed really great, especially in the off season. Their staff seemed really nice, helpful, and had great personalities.~ Victoria from Bellevue, WA

I have never needed something I couldn’t find in this store. So nice to have a grocery store nearby when you need a bottle of wine or stuff to make dinner. Love this store! ~ Amy from La Conner, WA

They offer a surprisingly wide variety of items, from upscale cheese to bungee cords. You will probably find the item you’re looking for, even though it may not be the specific brand/size/flavor you wanted.  If you’re looking for beer, don’t forget to go inside the refrigerated “beer cave.” ~ Mecha, Oxnard, CA
