Marci’s Corner – July 2012

What a busy month July is! Hopefully the weather cooperates and we have time to enjoy July’s sunny days and warm evenings.

Chamber Membership renewals have been mailed out; July 1st starts a new year for Chamber members.

And welcome to our 3 newest Chamber members:

The Marketing Task Force committee has been very busy creating new events, coordinating merchant window displays, bringing art into new spaces, and placing ads in print and online, TV, and Facebook.  Most of you received a second letter with a request for your help in continuing the marketing efforts for the rest of 2012 and into 2013 – with additional dollars from you we can continue to promote La Conner as a destination for visitors both nationally and internationally. In our @WORK section below are some highlights of how these efforts are making a positive difference.
