Nell Thorn Participating in UNICEF Water Week

UNICEF WATER WEEK IS March 19th-25th

For the 3rd year in a row, Nell Thorn is participating in a nationwide awareness/fund drive organized by UNICEF called Tap Project. It is a program around the nation that is run through restaurants in which patrons are asked to donate $1 to support clean water projects around the world. Since 2007, UNICEF’s Tap Project has raised nearly $3 million just within the U.S. In the past 3 years, Nell Thorn has been the only Washington restaurant  (outside of Seattle)  to participate, however this year, Nell Thorn has asked a group of restaurants in Skagit Valley to join in, to bring a higher level of exposure and participation.
