The Tulip Festival Stars: Skagit Valley’s Display Gardens!

A six-mile drive through farmland and fields of blooms, you will find three local display gardens – all with their own personality and charm.

RoozenGaarde has a five-acre Display Garden planted with over 1/2 million bulbs and features an authentic Dutch windmill.  Every year blooms a newly designed garden with 150 flower varieties on display.

RoozenGaarde is offering General Admission tickets for $15 per person with children ages 2 and under free.  The General Admission tickets include access to the RoozenGaarde’s 5-acre garden plus a 25-acre tulip field and a 20-acre daffodil field.

The RoozenGaarde Gift Shop and Fresh Cut Tulp Market will be open.  The gift shop hours during the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival are 9-7 and RoozenGaarde closes 10 minutes after sunset / PURCHASE TICKETS HERE

Tulip Town

Tulip Town will be opening earlier and staying open later, and has switched over to online ticketing to ensure you have the most amazing tulip experience possible!

There are three passes available:  General Admission, Experience Pass, and Photography Pass.  The General Admission is $15 ages 12+, $7 ages 6-11, and kids 5 and under are free.  A new Anytime ticket is now available for $25 (one full day admission, not time reservation necessary).

General Admission includes parking, a trolley ride, and access to the Tulip Bloom field, tulip gardens, indoor tulip display, and barn experience.  The Experience pass is $50/person and includes everything in General Admission plus a mini-workshop and escorted access directly into the field where you will be taught how to pick your own bouquet.  You will go home with not only the experience of a lifetime but your prized bouquets and first-hand knowledge from the Tulip Town experts!  Lastly, the Photography Pass is $100 for a day pass and $375 for a season’s pass.  The Photography Pass gets you exclusive access to the tulip field and gardens during the golden hours: 6-8 am and through sunset, as well as during normal business hours / PURCHASE TICKETS HERE

Garden Rosalyn (The newest garden)

Garden Rosalyn is a 13 acre complex with lots of parking, and 6 acres of tulips planted in fun designs, including stars, animals and manicured beds

Buy lunch or a snack from on-site vendors and enjoy the picnic tables and see the resident waterfowl and birds. Well-behaved dogs on leashes welcome.

Admission $12, children 5 and under free; tickets available at the gate when you arrive here in Skagit Valley. Free parking / LEARN MORE & PURCHASE TICKETS HERE

Tulip Festival Bloom Map

When do the flowers bloom in the fields?  RoozenGaarde’s update the Bloom Map so that you know which fields are in bloom.  Different varieties bloom at different times and the Daffodils bloom before the Tulips.  Use the Bloom Map as your driving tour guide.  If you would like to take advantage of free parking at the fields, then visit the RoozenGaarde Display Gardens first as your admission ticket also covers parking at the fields.

Join other local beer, cider and food enthusiasts, as you enjoy exclusive beer and bite pairings on a self-guided brewery adventure. Participants can also join in the fun of a cornhole and trivia tournaments.

Tulip Parade – Saturday, April 9th at 2pm along La Conner’s 1st St. The 35th Annual Kiwanis Club of La Conner’s Not So Impromptu Tulip Parade. Join in the fun as a spectator or participant. Plan Your Trip

Because of the popularity of the Tulip Festival, be sure to plan your trip wisely and make your hotel reservations before you travel to Skagit Valley!  La Conner has a wide range of lodging options from Skagit Valley’s only waterfront lodge to a historic Bed & Breakfast.  We strongly recommend making dinner reservations during the Tulip Festival.  Leave your car keys in your hotel room when exploring La Conner as all of our restaurants, boutiques and museums are an easy stroll.  Don’t miss experiencing the La Conner Historic Walking Tour, Sculpture Tour and boardwalk when you come in from the blooms!
