La Conner’s only waterfront hotel, the Channel Lodge, has wonderful craftsmanship set in northwest style and is just steps away from the La Conner Boardwalk!
Lobby Features Riverrock Fireplace and Live Piano Music
The Channel Lodge is designed to relax your senses from the minute you walk through the entrance. Enjoy the cozy chairs and warmth from the fireplace in the lobby while you take in the music. Listen to the pianists play their original works every Friday and Saturday evening from 5:00-7:00 pm.
Room Service and a Wine Bar Next Door
Enjoy room service snuggled up in your room by your fireplace or sitting on your balcony watching the boats drift by. Room service or take-out is available Thursday-Monday from 12-8 pm and expertly designed and prepared by The Oyster & Thistle Restaurant & Pub. Local proprietors Thomas and Danielle Palmer have been providing guests with fine food and great service for over 20 years. The Oyster & Thistle Restaurant and Pub, with its Old English country inn character, reflects our region’s unequaled supply of oyster and other fresh ingredients.
The Channel Lodge also offers complimentary wine tasting at Hellams Vineyard Bar & Wine Shop right next door. Experience the artisan craftsmanship throughout Hellams, including original design wine racks made from old barrel staves, acid-etched, restored concrete floors (the shop is housed in a historical landmark warehouse, very similar to the wharf buildings found along California’s Cannery Row) – and a real treasure, the 25-foot tasting bar made from a gorgeous hardwood. We invite you to come to relax, dine on artisan deli foods with a glass of wine and check out the premium “wine deck” on the Swinomish Channel next door.
Fireplaces in Every Room and Wildlife to View
Not only do you have a cozy lobby to relax and mingle in, but you can also enjoy the privacy of your own fireplace in the northwest-designed rooms. The Channel Lodge strives for happy customers. “Our happy customers comment on our amazing customer service, and our front desk staff really goes above and beyond to provide the guest with the utmost service,” says Jane Schmidt, Channel Lodge General Manager. “Our guests love to sit on their private patio to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the wildlife,” says Jane.
