Boaters often tell us that they love coming to La Conner – the sight of the rainbow bridge, the historic buildings along the waterfront, and the friendly people at the La Conner Marina guest docks all come together to make a perfect stopping spot.
Now, our boating guests will be greeted by 18 beautiful and colorful banners along Morris Street, representing the 18 annual events that take place in La Conner.
Each banner represents a community event and are installed by month; January starts at Key Bank at the east end of Morris Street and December hangs in Gilkey Square.
Get out your camera, and take a walk along Morris to view all 18 of these wonderful banners! And make note of events that you’d like to return for … while you may not want to visit La Conner in the dead of winter on your boat, we’re just a short drive or ferry ride/drive for most Northwest boaters.
