La Conner, WA – La Conner, Skagit County…..It’s Worth The Trip: No Detours Needed!

We Are Still Open imageLa Conner, Washington is still easily accessible both from northbound and southbound I-5 with no detours needed.

Says Marci Plank, La Conner Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, “La Conner is still an easy trip south from British Columbia/Bellingham or north from the Seattle area. Coming north, Exit 221, the Conway exit, is not impacted by the detours, and takes you across beautiful Fir Island and directly into La Conner. Coming south, Exit 230, which connects with Highway 20 going west toward Whidbey Island, Anacortes and San Juan Islands, is also accessible before bridge detour.”

Recently voted as the Best Tiny Town by King 5 TV Evening Magazine viewers, La Conner is one of Washington State’s most-loved destination towns. La Conner – with its easy access and little traffic as you drive across the beautiful fields of Fir Island or enter from Hwy 20 – is humming along just like always. Shops are busy, diners are excited to find resident chefs making magic with local seafood and spring produce, and the lodging establishments currently have some great deals on rooms.

“La Conner is open for business, and we’re still easy to get to!  We are excited to have 12 new businesses open in the past six months, come visit and see what is new!” says Plank.
