Bird of a Fiber

In the heart of La Conner, where the sky meets the fiber, Birds of a Fiber 2024 is set to take flight, celebrating not just artistic prowess but also the deep connection between art, nature, and community.

From its modest origins with just 25 local artists, this annual exhibit has evolved into an international phenomenon, drawing submissions from as far as Canada, Australia, Japan, and beyond. With a record-breaking 165 entries this year, including 64 exquisite pieces handpicked for the showcase, anticipation for the event begins as early as August of the preceding year.

As the excitement builds, Birds of a Fiber 2024 promises to showcase the universal allure of birds and the enduring power of artistic expression. Against the backdrop of La Conner’s breathtaking landscapes, this annual celebration continues to transcend borders, uniting communities and inspiring creativity in all who flock to experience its splendor.

The annual Birds of a Fiber exhibit will be here January 24 – March 24, 2024! Join us for a free reception on February 3, 2:30-4pm to see this highly-anticipated exhibit!
