How Exciting! Fiber Fest 2018 is Almost Here
Those living in La Conner as well as visitors from across the state of Washington and from around the country flock to the area each year to enjoy the Pacific Northwest Quilt & Fiber Arts Museum’s annual Fiber Fest. This is a great time to enjoy the most unique and intriguing types of quilt and fiber artwork found anywhere. Fiber Fest 2018 offers everything from textiles to yarns and embellishments as well as fabrics and even tools for quilting and fiber art. Best of all, the first 100 visitors will receive a free gift bag.
Fun and Interesting and Totally Free
There is free parking, great food concessions, door prizes and other fun activities for the entire family. Everything from wearable art to truly unique fibers and custom embellishments along with the finest artists and textiles can all be found at the Fiber Fest 2018 event. This fun and interesting and totally free gathering takes place on Saturday, February 24th 2018 from 10 AM to 4 PM. It is really a great fundraising event and one-day sales get together that should not be missed. A wide range of fiber and textile artists will be on hand to not only offer advice but to also learn for themselves the newest and latest techniques found around the industry.
Crafting of Wearable Art
With so many wonderful products and artwork on hand this is an ideal opportunity to explore some of the most unique fiber, quilt and textile artwork found anywhere today. From imported textiles to vintage textiles and different types of materials that are hand dyed or specially processed it will all be on hand in one form or another. Crafting of wearable art is a big part of this event with expert artisans on hand to answer questions. Just as last year, the event will take place at the La Conner Middle School in one of its multipurpose rooms.
